That Girl Poems

That Girl

A silent tear fall from her eyes
As she fell on her knees and cry
No one can see her pain filled life
It doesn't show in her hazel eyes
Dejected, rejected
Unappreciated and not respected
Alone and so desolated
She never ever felt so hurt
Trying so hard to get back on top
Everytime she tried
They pushed her back down
Right back where she started
Nobody sees the pain inside
She wears a mask to hide
All the scars
And all her fears
Now all she could do is weep and cry
Dignity loss, together with her pride
There is no one by her side
To even let her try......

Never Always Alone Pems

Never Always Alone

It doesn't take long
To make some friends
But me being by myself
Well, that never ends

They call me an outcast
And say I have no life
They say they feel sorry
For the guy who will make me his wife

They give me dirty looks
Whenever I walk by
They always abuse me
And try to make me cry

I try to be strong
I try to be alright
I try to ignore it
And I try not to fight

But wherever they are
They always seem to find me
No matter what I'm doing
No matter where I may be

Today they didn't hassle me
And I wonder why
I found out there's a new girl
And they made her cry

I went looking for her
Hoping to make a friend
So we can protect each other from them
And being by myself can finally end

I eventually found her
At the back of the school
I asked her what she was doing
And she said 'being a fool'

She said she's had this all before
From people at her old school
I sat down next to her
And told her they just think they're cool

She and I became best friends that day
She is the first one I've ever had
These days we stick together
And get through the good and bad

If you ever think that you are alone
Don't doubt that at all
You are never alone
You'll always have someone to call

Leave Exam Fear

Listen o my dear leave exam fear
Work hard and feel confident
Give it your best and God will see the rest
In any situation never leave your cheer

No one does best always in exam
Mistakes do occur in reality realm
They give us training to always do better
Never loose your heart and dont shatter
Learn from your mistakes and improvise
You will thus become more and more wise
People will admire and success will come near

Listen o my dear leave exam fear
Work hard and feel confident
Give it your best and God will see the rest
In any situation never leave your cheer

Nothing is certain in ever changing life
Only good exams will never suffice
Problems dont declare their sudden arrival
Strength is needed for a peaceful survival
Practical learning is equally essential
It brings out your real potential
Opportunities lie in so many spheres

Listen o my dear leave exam fear
Work hard and feel confident
Give it your best and God will see the rest
In any situation never leave your cheer

Just A Normal Girl

I'd like to think myself as normal,
Just an ordinary girl.
But I'm not into butterflies,
I don't do ballet twirls.

I hate wearing make-up,
No eye shadow or blush.
I don't have time in a morning,
As I'm always in a rush.

I don't wear fancy underwear,
Especially not a thong.
For all the girls who do out there,
I think it's kind of wrong.

I don't spend hours on the phone,
Just simply chatting away.
I only need to take five minutes,
On my hair everyday.

My room is not spotless,
My room is not a tip.
I don't put powder on my nose,
I don't give teachers lip.

I don't go after every boy,
That I come across.
I don't think I'm better than everyone,
Don't think that I'm the boss.

I don't walk with my breasts,
Held high up in the air.
I don't try to shake my bottom,
Or twirl and flick my hair.

I just want to get through,
These taunting years of school.
I don't care what you think of me,
I don't care if I'm not 'cool'.

And I do have a good time,
A laugh with all my friends.
I balance it with learning,
This is my beginning, not my end.

The Kid In The Back Of The Class poems

The Kid In The Back Of The Class poems

The Kid In The Back Of The Class

The kids pointed and the kids laughed
at the young man that sat in the back of the class.

The one with his head down
to conceal his lost frown,
the one whose face of confusion
led to all the students' intrusion.

Him feeling miserable was the children's desire;
they most enjoyed teasing him of his attire.
From the clothing he would wear
to the weird styles of his hair.

As the children ridiculed him and called him names,
the young man hid his face in great shame.
What was he to do when it was one vs. all?
'Cause he knew what they'd do when they found him in the hall.

The bruises on his skin
were not punishments from his own sins.
But they were the cruelty for his differences,
and the consequence of his existence.

It was midday the next day when the school went under attack.
The students inside had no time to react.
Everything was happening all so fast,
and it all started right after that first blast.

Loud gunshots filled every hall,
and blood was splattered all over every wall.
For thirty long minutes the rampage went on,
until it finally ended with the death of the con.

When it was all over, reporters flooded the scene
and asked everyone around what they had seen.
Students said they never saw the man.
They said as soon as they heard the guns, they all just ran.

Days later the school was still full of broken glass,
but that didn't stop students from returning to class.
When class had started, the students placed, under their desks, their feet.
and they all turned around to notice in the back that there was one empty seat...

Standing Tall

Standing Tall

Standing Tall

I put on this act,
as I walk through the halls looking like I don't care.
People talk behind my back,
like I'm not even there

They call me slut, they call me whore,
and frankly I just can't take it anymore.
They don't know me at all,
and I won't let them see me fall.

They don't see the feelings that I hide.
Do they realize how much it hurts?
They don't see what's bottling up inside.
Do they realize they shouldn't talk dirt?

So many things left unsaid.
So many reasons why my insides feel dead.
Why would he do this to me?
Why did God choose my family?

I walk through the halls with a stumble,
realizing I'm about to fall.
The worst is happening I say with a tumble,
I can't do this, I have got to stand tall.

Here I Sit

Here I Sit

Here I Sit

Here I sit
In a class I don't want to be.
May be pointless to admit.
What do they want me to see?

Here I play
On a field I call my own.
If they let me, I would stay,
But they wouldn't leave me alone.

Here I write
As I leave the world behind.
I finally begin to find my light,
But they wouldn't give me the time.

Here I lay
And wonder why I try
To fit their perfect mold of clay
As the morning draws nigh.

Here I sit
Again in a class I don't want to be,
In the mold I will not fit.
How can I get them to see?

High School

High School

High School

Growing up.
The next four years start here.
Take a deep breath as you walk through the doors.
Hear the feet pounding the floors.

Eyes are watching, everywhere.
Look at the seniors, we wouldn't dare.
Talk to old friends, the pressure ends there.

Decisions and choices, always in the way.
Affecting your future, day by day.
New things to learn, always a delay.

Stressful schoolwork and pressure to try.
They say always give 110%, but you just ask why?
Overwhelming, bored...you just want to cry.

Sports, pressuring you to do your best.
But you know you will never be as good as the rest.
Everything here is always a test.

They say these years will be the best years of our lives,
but others may think it's just another few years of throwing knives.

So hold onto the memories already made,
because soon it will all fade.

Life Is Tough

Life Is Tough

Life Is Tough

Life is tough--that's what they say,
But they don't know what it's like every day
To wake up in the morning and go to school,
Just so people can test you and prove you're a fool.

The teacher says you obviously didn't try,
But they don't know you go to your room and cry.
You did put in effort, you did your part;
They just don't understand you're not that smart.

Then comes the pressure from your mum and dad
Who are so clearly disappointed that your grades are bad.
You are punished and picked on for the rest of the year,
Because you finally gave up on the future career

That was once so close, but is now so distant.
However, your teachers and parents are still insistent.
It's hard enough getting up and going to class
Without the pressure and expectation that you have to pass.

The worst part, however, is not that you're a disappointment.
It's the permanent, never-ending embarrassment
Of always failing and coming last,
Of never being good enough, your confidence dropping fast.

Everyone else seems to be doing just fine.
Their parents are all proud, unlike mine.
Honestly, I can't think of a worse place than this,
When in reality it's made out to be somewhere we should miss.

I won't miss it; I'll be glad to leave.
Five years wasted because failure is all I ever received.
I know it's my fault and that I'm the one to blame.
I gave up so early on because I was ashamed.

To my family, I'm a failure, and I'm a failure to myself.
Everyone's high expectations only damaged my metal health.
If I ever have kids I will always try
To make sure the fear of failure is not the reason they ever cry.

People need to understand school's no longer fun or good,
'Cause some of us don't fit in, although we wish we could.

School Life

School Life

School is a daily routine for us.
In the morning, we're sure to make a fuss.
Even when the sun is still not up,
Here we are, awake at 6am sharp.

We feel that school is such a bore.
We feel that school is such a chore.
Parents say, "School's great! Now, go!"
We say, "Well, what do you know?"

Late a minute and we have to run.
Eyes half open, shoelaces undone.
We reach school and we see our friends.
Immediately, the torture ends.

We have a chat and go with the flow.
Then the bell rings; it is time to go.
We may at times find school stressful.
To have some fun, we have to bend some rules.

Talk back to teachers, and detention we serve
No doubt, it is sometimes what we deserve.
Sometimes they are as cold as ice,
And other times they're actually really nice.

They teach us and give us a helping hand.
They're forever ready to listen and be a friend.
They have built much confidence in us.
Just not when they are being really harsh.

Over the years of education,
Never have we had so much learning with action,
Such as camps, experiments, concerts, and activities.
We've learned so much and even saved the trees.

A wise teacher once said aloud -
Success is failure turned inside out,
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit.
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Some may see school as a torture chamber.
Some cannot wait for the holidays in December,
But it depends on how we look at school.
Honestly, positively, school is cool!

School Poems

A Thought about School

The difficulties of School is a subject which many have written about. Children are in some ways like savages, untrained in the ways of society. They may not stop to think whether it is wrong to torture other children. Students are often the target of emotional or physical bullying. Most schools have various groups or gangs of students that exclude all others. Yet, there is much good that children and teens do between each other. There is no question that school can be a difficult place to be and there is much to write about school life.
